The OPS Lab, motivated by the elaboration of the Programme Archimedes II with subject “Water Systems Optimisation in Islands with Limited Water Resources” has started an associated research activity, in issues concerning the optimal resources management like:
- Optimisation of water systems at local scale
- Quantitative analysis of water price on the basis of its usage
- Cost analysis of different water supply methods in islands
- Water cost analysis from Reverse Osmosis units based on the energy source utilization
- Quantitative analysis of environmental impacts of different water supply methods and also of different water uses
